JCET Group recently received approval from the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB), to establish its overseas Finance and Treasury Centre (FTC). At the same time, the company successfully launched its overseas Treasury Management Platform following six months of development.
The two initiatives represent a significant step forward in JCET’s efforts to strengthen its global treasury framework and enhance its cross-border financial management capabilities. They will provide efficient and reliable financial support for the company’s global operations and continued business growth.
The new FTC will centralize core treasury activities, including cash management, financing, settlement and financial analysis, while coordinating treasury functions across JCET’s overseas entities. This centralized approach will enable the company to manage its global liquidity with greater visibility, discipline and efficiency.
The FTC will also strengthen coordination between JCET’s domestic and international financial resources, providing more flexible and efficient funding support for global business expansion, overseas operations and strategic projects.
Singapore is a major global business and financial hub with a well-developed financial services ecosystem and strong connectivity across the Asia-Pacific region. By establishing the FTC in Singapore, JCET will be able to draw on the market’s financial infrastructure and professional expertise to support its global treasury operations.
The FTC will oversee a range of specialized functions, including deposits, financing, settlement, tax management and cross-border liquidity coordination. These capabilities are expected to improve capital efficiency, optimize funding costs and enhance financial returns. They will also strengthen JCET’s ability to manage foreign exchange, interest rate and liquidity risks across its global operations.
Mr. Liang Zheng, CFO of JCET Group said, “JCET has established a global business network spanning China, South Korea, Singapore and other markets. The overseas Finance and Treasury Centre will serve as an important platform for connecting our global operations, optimizing resource allocation and supporting the execution of our corporate strategy. By driving greater centralization and coordination across our overseas treasury operations, the FTC will further enhance the resilience and efficiency of our global operating framework. JCET will continue to strengthen the financial management capabilities required by its global operations, providing efficient and prudent resource support for technology innovation, capacity expansion and customer service.”
